Serving at cornerstone kids

Here in the Kids' Ministry, we have lots of fun as we help our kids build a strong foundation in the truth of Jesus Christ. You can volunteer to work with our nursery kids, preschool kids, and elementary kids.

Apply Today!

We'd love to have you as part of our team!

Download and fill out the application and bring it to the Kids' Registration desk so we can set up a FIRST SERVE - where you "observe the ministry." First Serves offers a great chance to see all the ways you can impact kids' lives before you formally commit to serving regularly.

Ministry Needs

JUMP Nursery and 2-Year-Old Leader:

The purpose of a nursery JUMP leader is to show the love of Jesus to our littlest kids. Play with toys, give snacks and read a short story to the kids. JUMP takes place on Wednesday evenings; 7 pm - 8:30 pm. Leaders are asked to arrive at 6:45 pm to participate in a brief leaders' meeting.

If interested in becoming a JUMP volunteer, please contact Joanne Fitz.

11 AM Preschool Helper:

The purpose of the preschool helper is to communicate the Bible lesson to the preschoolers creatively and engagingly.  You will share a given story each week with three rotating groups of children.  The stories will be provided ahead of time and props will be provided each week.  During the week, you would spend 30 minutes becoming familiar with the story and praying for the children.

If you can see yourself in any of these roles, please contact Jenny Marsalese to set up a First Serve!

Small Group Leaders:

The purpose of the small group leader is to create a place where elementary-aged children can fellowship with one another and spend time learning the application of the weekly lesson.  It involves shepherding a child’s heart as well as using games, discussion, and activities to reinforce the concept of the week. Current needs are  Saturday evening Boys' & Girls', & 11 AM 4th Grade Boys' Leader.

If you can see yourself in any of these roles, please contact Jenny Marsalese to set up a First Serve!
